YATIFY eTENDER CLASSIFICATION RULES Purpose ------- Turn OCDS tender/release descriptions into explainable civil-engineering categories while preserving the original description. Road / pavement evidence examples --------------------------------- High asphalt-intensity: - asphalt - hot mix - premix - asphalt overlay - milling and overlay Medium asphalt-intensity: - road rehabilitation - pavement rehabilitation - road widening - road upgrade - road construction without an explicit asphalt mix term Low asphalt-intensity: - generic road / roadworks wording without an explicit surfacing signal Bituminous treatment kept separate: - reseal - slurry seal - chip seal - surface treatment - bituminous seal Controls -------- - professional engineering/advisory tenders can remain in Civil Tender Intelligence but do not contribute to the asphalt works-demand proxy. - original matched evidence is retained with the classified record. - the model does not infer supplier inventory or plant spare capacity. - classifier performance must be scored against a human-labelled validation sample after enough real OCDS records have been imported.
